Terms of Service

These terms describe your use of Browser Picker for Links for macOS and this support website. Browser Picker for Links is developed by fangzheng. “We” refers to fangzheng. By using Browser Picker for Links, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

1. What Browser Picker for Links provides

Browser Picker for Links lets you choose which installed browser opens an HTTP or HTTPS link or a supported local HTML file. It can serve as your default browser, keep local open history, and display and manage tabs in supported browsers when you grant the necessary macOS permission. Some features depend on macOS settings, compatible browsers, and the permissions you choose to grant. The current minimum supported system is macOS 15.0.

2. App Store license

If you obtain Browser Picker for Links through the Mac App Store, your license to use the app is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a separate valid license agreement is provided in App Store Connect. These terms supplement that license and do not replace rights you have under it or under applicable law. Apple’s terms and processes govern App Store purchases, downloads, and refunds.

3. Your responsibilities

Use Browser Picker for Links lawfully and respect the rights of others. You choose which links and local files to open and which browser to use. Check a link’s destination before opening it, especially if it came from an unknown source. Browser Picker for Links does not inspect websites for safety or guarantee that a destination is trustworthy.

Tab management can activate or close browser tabs and windows at your request. Closing a tab or window may discard unsaved work in the browser. You are responsible for reviewing the action before you confirm it and for maintaining any backups you need.

4. Third-party services

Browsers, websites, browser extensions, email apps, and sharing destinations are provided by others and may have their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability and behavior can change. Browser Picker for Links does not control their content, security, or data handling. Browser names and logos belong to their respective owners; their appearance in Browser Picker for Links does not imply endorsement.

Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Availability and liability

We may update, modify, or discontinue features as the app evolves. macOS updates, browser changes, and permission settings may affect functionality. We aim to keep Browser Picker for Links working, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Browser Picker for Links is provided without additional warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law or the applicable App Store license. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

6. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated in the app or on this page where practicable. If you do not agree with updated terms, stop using Browser Picker for Links.
